This is the last surah of the Quran, and it is also a dua for protection. First it tells us who ALLAH is, and then it asks HIM to keep us safe from bad whispers.
یہ قرآن کی آخری سورہ ہے، اور یہ بھی حفاظت کی دعا ہے۔ پہلے یہ بتاتی ہے کہ اللہ کون ہے، اور پھر اُس سے بُرے وسوسوں سے حفاظت مانگتی ہے۔
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
(شروع کرتا ہوں) اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔
Let's begin with ALLAH's name. HE loves us more than anyone, and HE is the kindest of all. No one can ever be as loving as ALLAH.
آؤ اللہ کا نام لے کر شروع کریں۔ اللہ ہم سے سب سے زیادہ پیار کرتا ہے اور سب سے زیادہ مہربان ہے۔ اُس جتنا پیار کرنے والا کوئی ہو ہی نہیں سکتا۔
Ayah 1–3
1
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
Say, ‘I seek the protection of the Lord of humans,
(اے رسول(ص)) آپ(ص) کہہ دیجئے! کہ میں پناہ لیتا ہوں سب لوگوں کے پروردگار کی۔
Easy ExplanationO ALLAH, YOU are the One who made all people and looks after them. I come to YOU so that YOU keep me safe.
آسان مفہوماے اللہ، تُو ہی ہے جس نے سب لوگوں کو بنایا اور اُن کا خیال رکھتا ہے۔ میں تیرے پاس آتا ہوں تاکہ تُو مجھے محفوظ رکھے۔

مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
Sovereign of humans,
سب انسانوں کے بادشاہ کی۔
Easy ExplanationYOU are the King of all people, and everyone is under YOUR care.
آسان مفہومتُو ہی سب لوگوں کا بادشاہ ہے، اور ہر کوئی تیری ہی پناہ میں ہے۔

إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ
God of humans,
سب لوگوں کے الٰہ (خدا) کی۔
Easy ExplanationYOU are the only GOD of all people, and we worship only YOU.
آسان مفہومتُو ہی سب لوگوں کا واحد معبود ہے، اور ہم صرف تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں۔

Now the topic changes. We said who ALLAH is; from here, we ask HIM what to protect us from.
اب موضوع بدل رہا ہے۔ ہم نے بتایا کہ اللہ کون ہے؛ اب ہم اُس سے کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں کس چیز سے بچائے۔
Ayah 4–6
4
مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
from the evil of the sneaky tempter
بار بار وسوسہ ڈالنے بار بار پسپا ہونے والے کے شر سے۔
Easy ExplanationO ALLAH, please save me from the bad thoughts that quietly come into my heart. Sometimes they make me want to do wrong, and sometimes they make me scared or worried about things that are not even really happening. These bad thoughts sneak in when I forget YOU, and they run away as soon as I remember YOU.
آسان مفہوماے اللہ، مجھے اُن بُرے خیالوں سے بچا جو چپکے سے میرے دل میں آ جاتے ہیں۔ کبھی یہ مجھے غلط کام کرنے پر اُکساتے ہیں، اور کبھی مجھے ایسی باتوں سے ڈرا دیتے ہیں جو سچ میں ہو ہی نہیں رہی ہوتیں۔ یہ بُرے خیال تب آتے ہیں جب میں تجھے بھول جاتا ہوں، اور جیسے ہی میں تجھے یاد کرتا ہوں، یہ بھاگ جاتے ہیں۔

الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
who puts temptations into the breasts of humans,
جو لوگوں کے دلوں میں وسوسہ ڈالتا ہے۔
Easy ExplanationThis bad whisper tries to put wrong and scary thoughts deep inside people's hearts, to make them afraid or to make them do bad things.
آسان مفہومیہ بُری آواز لوگوں کے دلوں میں گہرائی تک غلط اور ڈرانے والے خیال ڈالنے کی کوشش کرتی ہے، تاکہ وہ ڈر جائیں یا بُرے کام کریں۔

مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
from among the jinn and humans.’
خواہ وہ جِنوں میں سے ہوں یا انسانوں میں سے۔
Easy ExplanationSo, O ALLAH, please keep me safe from every bad whisper - whether it comes from a hidden jinn or from a person.
آسان مفہومتو اے اللہ، مجھے ہر بُری آواز سے محفوظ رکھ - چاہے وہ کسی چھپے ہوئے جِن کی طرف سے ہو یا کسی انسان کی طرف سے۔
