This surah is a dua for protection. ALLAH teaches us to come to HIM whenever we are scared, because HE can keep us safe from every bad thing.
یہ سورہ حفاظت کی دعا ہے۔ اللہ ہمیں سکھاتا ہے کہ جب بھی ہم ڈریں، اُسی کے پاس آئیں، کیونکہ وہی ہمیں ہر بُری چیز سے محفوظ رکھ سکتا ہے۔
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
(شروع کرتا ہوں) اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔
Let's begin with ALLAH's name. HE loves us more than anyone, and HE is the kindest of all. No one can ever be as loving as ALLAH.
آؤ اللہ کا نام لے کر شروع کریں۔ اللہ ہم سے سب سے زیادہ پیار کرتا ہے اور سب سے زیادہ مہربان ہے۔ اُس جتنا پیار کرنے والا کوئی ہو ہی نہیں سکتا۔
Ayah 1–5
1
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
Say, ‘I seek the protection of the Lord of the daybreak
(اے رسول(ص)) آپ(ص) کہہ دیجئے کہ میں پناہ لیتا ہوں صبح کے پروردگار کی۔
Easy ExplanationO ALLAH, YOU are the One who brings the morning light. I come to YOU so that YOU keep me safe.
آسان مفہوماے اللہ، تُو ہی صبح کی روشنی لاتا ہے۔ میں تیرے پاس آتا ہوں تاکہ تُو مجھے محفوظ رکھے۔

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
from the evil of what He has created,
ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جو اس نے پیدا کی ہے۔
Easy ExplanationPlease protect me from anything bad in all the things YOU have made.
آسان مفہوممجھے ہر اُس بُری چیز سے بچا جو تُو نے بنائی ہے۔

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
and from the evil of the dark night when it falls,
اور رات کی تاریکی کے شر سے جبکہ وہ چھا جائے۔
Easy ExplanationAnd please keep me safe from the bad things that come in the dark of the night.
آسان مفہوماور اندھیری رات میں آنے والی بُری چیزوں سے مجھے محفوظ رکھ۔

وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ
and from the evil of the witches, who blow on knots,
اوران کے شر سے جو گِرہوں میں پھونکے مارتی ہیں۔
Easy ExplanationAnd please save me from people who do bad magic to try to hurt others.
آسان مفہوماور اُن لوگوں سے مجھے بچا جو بُرا جادو کر کے دوسروں کو نقصان پہنچانا چاہتے ہیں۔
5
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
and from the evil of the envious one when he envies.’
اورحاسد کے شر سے جب وہ حسد کرے۔
Easy ExplanationAnd please protect me from a jealous person when they feel jealous of me and wish bad for me.
آسان مفہوماور جلنے والے سے مجھے بچا، جب وہ مجھ سے جلے اور میرا بُرا چاہے۔
