After ALLAH saved the Kaaba, life in Makkah became calm and happy again. The Quraysh were one of the leading tribes of Makkah, and were well known as traders. This surah gently reminds them: since ALLAH is the One who keeps you safe and feeds you, thank HIM by worshipping HIM alone.
خانہ کعبہ کو بچانے کے بعد، مکہ میں پھر سے امن اور خوشی لوٹ آئی۔ قریش مکہ کے سب سے نمایاں قبیلوں میں سے ایک تھے، جو تجارت کے لیے مشہور تھے۔ یہ سورہ انہیں پیار سے یاد دلاتی ہے: جب اللہ ہی تمہیں محفوظ رکھتا اور کھانا دیتا ہے، تو صرف اُسی کی عبادت کر کے اُس کا شکر ادا کرو۔
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
(شروع کرتا ہوں) اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔
Let's begin with ALLAH's name. HE loves us more than anyone, and HE is the kindest of all. No one can ever be as loving as ALLAH.
آؤ اللہ کا نام لے کر شروع کریں۔ اللہ ہم سے سب سے زیادہ پیار کرتا ہے اور سب سے زیادہ مہربان ہے۔ اُس جتنا پیار کرنے والا کوئی ہو ہی نہیں سکتا۔
Ayah 1–4
1
لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ
[In gratitude] for solidarity among the Quraysh,
چونکہ (اللہ نے) قریش کو مانوس کر دیا۔
Easy ExplanationAfter ALLAH destroyed Abraha's elephant army with the little Ababeel birds, the people of Makkah - the Quraysh - felt safe and settled together in their city.
آسان مفہومابرھہ کی ہاتھیوں والی فوج کے ناکام حملے کے بعد، جسے اللہ نے ابابیلوں کے ذریعے تباہ کر دیا تھا، مکہ کے لوگ یعنی قریش اپنے شہر میں مل جل کر امن اور سکون سے رہنے لگے۔

إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ
their solidarity during winter and summer journeys,
یعنی جاڑے اور گرمی کے تجارتی سفر سے مانوس کر دیا ہے۔
Easy ExplanationThey loved to travel to buy and sell things - in the cold winter and in the hot summer. Because everyone knew the Quraysh looked after ALLAH's House, the Kaaba - and had seen how ALLAH destroyed Abraha's army - people respected them, and no one dared to rob their caravans. That is how ALLAH kept every journey safe and easy for them.
آسان مفہوموہ چیزیں خریدنے اور بیچنے کے لیے سفر کرنا پسند کرتے تھے - ٹھنڈی سردیوں میں بھی اور گرم گرمیوں میں بھی۔ چونکہ سب جانتے تھے کہ قریش اللہ کے گھر، خانہ کعبہ، کی خدمت کرتے ہیں - اور سب نے دیکھا تھا کہ اللہ نے ابرھہ کی فوج کو کیسے تباہ کیا - اِس لیے لوگ اُن کا احترام کرتے تھے اور کوئی اُن کے تجارتی قافلوں کو لوٹنے کی ہمت نہ کرتا تھا۔ اِسی طرح اللہ نے اُن کے ہر سفر کو آسان اور محفوظ رکھا۔

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ
let them worship the Lord of this House,
تو ان کو چاہیے کہ اس گھر (خانۂ کعبہ) کے پروردگار کی عبادت کریں۔
Easy ExplanationSo, thankful that their caravans were always kept safe, they should worship ALLAH alone - the Lord of this special House, the Kaaba.
آسان مفہومتو اِس شکر میں کہ اُن کے قافلے ہمیشہ محفوظ رہے، انہیں چاہیے کہ صرف اللہ کی عبادت کریں، جو اِس خاص گھر، خانہ کعبہ، کا مالک ہے۔

الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍ
who has fed them [and saved them] from hunger, and secured them from fear.
جس نے ان کو بھوک میں کھانے کو دیا اور خوف میں امن عطا کیا۔
Easy ExplanationIt is ALLAH who fills their tummies when they are hungry, and keeps them safe when they are afraid of being robbed on their trade journeys. When someone gives us so much, the kindest thing is to say thank you and love them - and ALLAH deserves that the most.
آسان مفہومیہ اللہ ہی ہے جو بھوک میں اُن کا پیٹ بھرتا ہے اور خوف میں انہیں تجارتی قافلوں کے لُٹنے سے محفوظ رکھتا ہے۔ جب کوئی ہمیں اتنا کچھ دے، تو سب سے اچھی بات یہ ہے کہ ہم شکریہ کہیں اور اُس سے پیار کریں - اور اللہ اِس کا سب سے زیادہ حقدار ہے۔
