The story of this duaاِس دعا کی کہانی
Prophet Zakariya (peace be upon him) had grown very old and had no children. His heart longed for a child who would love and obey ALLAH after him. He did not ask any doctor or any powerful person — he quietly raised his hands to ALLAH and asked HIM. And ALLAH gave him a wonderful son named Yahya (peace be upon him).
حضرت زکریا علیہ السلام بہت بوڑھے ہو چکے تھے اور اُن کے کوئی اولاد نہ تھی۔ اُن کا دل چاہتا تھا کہ ایک ایسی اولاد ہو جو اُن کے بعد اللہ سے محبت کرے اور اُس کی فرمانبرداری کرے۔ اُنہوں نے کسی طبیب یا کسی طاقتور شخص سے نہیں مانگا — اُنہوں نے خاموشی سے اللہ کے آگے ہاتھ اٹھائے اور اُسی سے مانگا۔ اور اللہ نے اُنہیں ایک پیارا بیٹا عطا کیا جس کا نام یحییٰ علیہ السلام تھا۔
🤲 When to say this dua🤲 یہ دعا کب پڑھیں
Say this dua when you want something very much that only ALLAH can give — and remember, ALLAH can give what no one else can.
یہ دعا اُس وقت پڑھو جب تمہیں کوئی چیز بہت شدت سے چاہیے ہو جو صرف اللہ دے سکتا ہے — اور یاد رکھو، اللہ وہ دے سکتا ہے جو کوئی اور نہیں دے سکتا۔
الأنبیاءSurah Al-Anbiya · Ayat 89
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
(شروع کرتا ہوں) اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔
Let's begin with ALLAH's name. HE loves us more than anyone, and HE is the kindest of all. No one can ever be as loving as ALLAH.
آؤ اللہ کا نام لے کر شروع کریں۔ اللہ ہم سے سب سے زیادہ پیار کرتا ہے اور سب سے زیادہ مہربان ہے۔ اُس جتنا پیار کرنے والا کوئی ہو ہی نہیں سکتا۔
And [remember] Zechariah, when he cried out to his Lord, ‘My Lord! Do not leave me without an heir, and You are the best of inheritors.’
اور زکریا (ع) کا (ذکر کیجئے) جب انہوں نے پکارا اے میرے پروردگار! مجھے (وارث کے بغیر) اکیلا نہ چھوڑ۔ جبکہ تو خود بہترین وارث ہے۔
Easy ExplanationProphet Zakariya (peace be upon him) was very old and had no children. He wished for a child who would love ALLAH after him. So he called to ALLAH softly: 'My Lord, do not leave me all alone — and YOU are the best of all to give.' He did not ask any person for this — he asked only ALLAH. And ALLAH gave him a lovely son named Yahya (peace be upon him).
آسان مفہومحضرت زکریا علیہ السلام بہت بوڑھے تھے اور اُن کی کوئی اولاد نہ تھی۔ وہ چاہتے تھے کہ کوئی ایسی اولاد ہو جو اُن کے بعد اللہ سے محبت کرے۔ تو اُنہوں نے آہستہ سے اللہ کو پکارا: 'اے میرے رب، مجھے اکیلا نہ چھوڑ — اور تُو ہی سب سے بہتر عطا کرنے والا ہے۔' اُنہوں نے یہ کسی انسان سے نہیں مانگا — صرف اللہ سے مانگا۔ اور اللہ نے اُنہیں ایک پیارا بیٹا یحییٰ علیہ السلام عطا کیا۔
